Our goal is to let you discover the surprising sides and special stories of the Netherlands in a relaxed way. Kampen and Beyond consists of a team of reliable and enthusiastic guides with years of experience: Mariëlle Dekkers, Tricia Robbins and Reinier de Wit.

Over the past 20 years Reinier has been promoting Dutch art history in courses for adults, as a teacher at high schools, and as a local guide for all kinds of people and groups. Reinier studied Art History at the University of Utrecht. As an art historian, Reinier can offer tourists a good, serious, and in-depth perspective on Dutch history and art. As a person, people describe him as easy going, open minded, enthusiastic and having a no-nonsense mentality.
MARIËLLE DEKKERS

Mariëlle Dekkers is an experienced certified guide in the East of the Netherlands. She works for more than15 years as a guide. Her goal is to ensure that visitors will have an interesting and relaxed tour.
TRICIA ROBBINS
- Political Science, MA and American Studies, MA
- Certified National Guide
- Special Interests: History, 17th century Dutch masters, and fun and engaging stories in general. Kampen & Schokland and cities in the center and West of the Netherlands, such as Amsterdam, Utrecht and Amersfoort.
- Languages: English
Tricia offers you a personal approach, an insider perspective, and engaging stories during a city walk or a museum adventure. She brings history back to life and is insightful about present-day Dutch culture, both on a serious note and with a sense of humor. Tricia studied at the University of Amsterdam, spent most of her working life as a communication professional in the Hague and Delft, before returning to Utrecht, the center of the Netherlands. She has been a full-time guide since 2016.
